When you click the X at the upper-right corner of KINGSTAR Control Panel, the panel is not closed. It is minimized to the Windows Notification Area.
To exit KINGSTAR Control Panel, in the notification area, right-click the KINGSTAR Control Panel icon and click Exit.
If you have turned on KINGSTAR PLC, after you exit the KINGSTAR Control Panel, KINGSTAR PLC Runtime will keep running in the background, unless you turn it off in KINGSTAR Control Panel.
