Restart
Restarts the EtherCAT master.
Syntax
KsCommandStatus Restart();
Return value
Returns the KsCommandStatus structure.
Remarks
- If auto-restart is disabled, use this function to manually restart the EtherCAT master. This function doesn't break the link with applications. It restarts the EtherCAT master and all slaves but keeps the configuration. It assumes the slaves are identical. PDOs are frozen during the restart but won't be reset.
- Restart doesn't scan the devices on an EtherCAT network so it is faster than Start.
Usable EtherCAT states
