Log selection: Trace messages
Log selection allows you to select the message types to be displayed in your log. This section talks about Trace messages.
Trace Messages
The options in this area affect the trace messages displayed in your log. Trace messages may be generated every cycle. Countless messages can be generated in just 1 second, so a large amount of data will be presented.
Message types
These messages may be generated every cycle, such as EtherCAT packets. The selected type will be displayed in the Trace view.
When you save Trace messages, the Interpolation and PID messages are saved in the Interpolation and PID folder, respectively. Other messages are saved in the Trace folder in the Destination folder.

The source of your log.
EtherCAT: from EtherCAT master.
Axis: from a single axis.
