Manually configure subsystem settings
The KINGSTAR installer installs and configures the RTX64 and RTX64 Virtual NIC for you. If you didn't select a network interface card (NIC) when you install KINGSTAR Runtime, or the IP address of the Windows Virtual NIC is not set correctly, you need to configure RTX64 manually.
There are two ways to configure an NIC:
- KINGSTAR Control Panel
- RTX64 Control Panel and Window Device Manager
We suggest you use KINGSTAR Control Panel > Runtime Settings to configure an NIC. It provides a friendly user interface to allow you to assign an NIC with one click, and change IP addresses and other settings quickly.
The following procedures are necessary only if KINGSTAR Control Panel is not able to help you configure the KINGSTAR settings. These procedures are a bit complex because you need to complete them through many clicks in RTX64 Control Panel and Windows Device Manager.
